Welcome back our Janice!

Hi !  It has been a month since our last blog post.
Our editor as well as my friend, Janice, is back from her home city of  NYC now.

I received a picture of her in NYC with our "Karen" Shirts-dress and our tote bag,  of course!
She told me that people are always complimenting these!

Yes, our clothing items work well both in the big city and resort spots, like Chiang Mai.

I was also having a kind of holiday last month.

I had visitors from Japan and spending really good time with them in Chiang Mai.
Also, I was making my atelier.

It is such a small space as an atelier, but you know, we JAPANESE are good at organizing and using small spaces!

Let`s see what I can do more for this atelier!

Thank you for reading our blog always. See you next time in this month!
Have a lovely weekend!

A crown for our prince

Last evening, my friends and I had a birthday dinner at a nice local restaurant.

One friend drive everybody to the restaurant.
Another friend paid for everybody's dinner.
And another friend bought the birthday "cake", which was macaroons and Madeleines.
I made the birthday boy a crown as a birthday gift.

Our little prince last night.

He enjoyed the dinner, cakes and the crown. So we all were happy!
Perhaps, I will make more crowns .... birthday crowns!   :)  It was actually fun to make.

It was a very simple and yummy meal at the restaurant.
One of our friends always discovers a new nice place to go and eat!

We have known each other for over five years.
Different nationalities, different ages, different genders and from different backgrounds.
But we always enjoy our occasional gatherings, although I am super introverted!?

It was a nice and fun evening, indeed.

 Have a lovely weekend!

Pop-up Store at resorts in Chiang Mai

Hi everyone!
I have been busy attending pop-up stores at some resort hotels in Chiang Mai in this month, especially these past two weeks. I love pop-up events and enjoy meeting nice new people at these events!

The blue Apron dress in the photos and Hmong Pants which is made of single cotton gauze with liner were all sold out in a moment.
Thank you very much! :)

Now I am excited to find another nice fabric for the next version of this Apron dress.

Have a lovely Sunday!

"Ramon Café" an Adobe House Cafè in Chiang Mai

Now the hottest season in Chiang Mai is coming upon us.
It already reached 39 degree Celsius for the highest temperature today.  In such an environment, there is a unique place for you to spend your time to be calm and cool without air-conditioning: a round-shaped adobe house "Ramon Cafè".

In this cafè, there are no glass-windows. So the wind blows through the windows on the curved wall. You can feel comfortable. Also the house is surrounded by trees in the small garden, so the air is cooler and fresh.
Personally, I like to spend my time here reading a book, or just being by myself when it´s raining during a quiet afternoon. I could enjoy the smell of nature and feel the cooler air from the windows of the mud house. It feels extraordinary and cozy. You must come and experience that when you are in Chiang Mai!

Last year, the cafè owner, AIR planted some vegetables and herbs in the garden just outside the cafe.  When she realized that the soil around the café was very dry, she improved the soil and cultivated the garden.  Also now she studies what trees and vegetables are suitable to place in the garden.  The plants are growing well so she had a good harvest this year which of course, she uses those vegetables and herbs in her cooking at the cafè.

You can enjoy milk or yoghurt smoothies made with fresh fruits, many different kind of teas, lovely desserts and tasty vegetable dishes. They also serve very attractive breakfast or brunch plates with sandwiches.

If you want to enjoy lunch at the cafe, I recommend you to go there a little earlier than noon, because it is busy around the lunch time, especially on weekends.

Starting from this month we started to sell some of our products at the cafè such as coloring books, handkerchiefs and some small charming goods for both children and adults. These goods are related to Chiang Mai culture, so it could be a nice and interesting present from you in Chiang Mai to your friends around the world.
